Move on and on & halt not with SETBACKS,
Always be ready to face life in its eye,
Unexpected things might happen,
Efforts might prove abortive of their cause,
Losses immeasurable might invade your life.
You might loose someone,
you couldn’t dream to live without.
Still never fall weak, balance your frame.
Never think all is over,
For life must GO ON…..
Even after bouts of tears,
Smile must attend your face.
Even after shocks,resumptions must occur.
Sometimes it might seem that,
You may never rise again.
Even when all dreams are shattered,
Never fear to dream again.
Joys will come and leave your bosom,
Maladies and miseries will dry away
like autumn leaves.
When every season has met your life,
You will have to stand again with just
dreams and hope remaining with you.
Move on and on and halt not with SETBACKS
For life must GO ON…
For life has no dead end,
Your grieves will sound like thunderbolts to you.
And you will think there’s nothing left for you,
It’s then you must remember to walk,
On the rhythm of life.
If you lend your ear to life,
you will hear vibrant echoes.
Of what life whispers “life must GO ON…”
So forget all pains,
for you are not the only one.
Engross yourself in bringing smiles,
on the frowning faces of the world.
Life should never be stagnant,
It should float with swiftness of time,
Things must happen and things must go.
Of course sore will remain fresh
in the morning lane.
But never make your life,
A bundle of past grievances.
For your past, after all was a past.
It is over and out.
Why should you allow it to swallow
away even your present ?
Live each moment with a smile on your face.
Life should be bubbling wildly,
in every drop of your hot blood.
Don’t waste your life running after
SHADOWS of the past.
Regretting over things you cannot control.
Don’t think you have lost everything
with your yesterday.
For each moment can be a new beginning.
What has happened after all cannot be repealed.
What’s done cannot be undone.
It’s all in your thoughts,
that you feel pain or pleasure.
In reality they are absent,
they really don’t exist.
When all is over only HOPES and DREAMS are needed.
And SMILES and WILLPOWER to persist.

“So forget all pains,
for you are not the only one.”
So true sometimes we tend to think the bad things happen only to us but thats not true…
Another thing that i liked was “Don’t waste your life running after
SHADOWS of the past.”…
Great composition..

well put….
even i have two compositions on same lines, and yours is seemingly perfect blend of both my works…
this topic is quite close to my heart and your words have made me take a dip in that emotion….
Little difficult, but extrmely meaningful composition….

Very well said Ravindra. Duniya mein kitne gum hai… mera gum kitne kum hai..But i will not disrespect calling it merely a poem rather i found whole life in these words. I’ll call it Sanjeevani booti, coz person who feels he has lost everything n life seems to be finished for him, that person is not better than dead person… But your words actually can be life saving drug for someone… Keep it up..

Ravindra. It’s a great composition. Life, as they say can only be lived forward as GOD deliberately omitted the <<Rewind button. Instead, he gave us memories. “How I wish I had Alzheimers” was rekindled with your lines.
Good work Brother.
