The recent spur in arrests of people who posted comments on popular social networking sites like Facebook and twitter has given a sudden ray of hope to Google.
In a recent interview ,Google said they are planning to launch an ad campaign requesting users to switch back to Orkut to vent out their feelings and say whatever they feel like without getting arrested.
In an exclusive interview Google said “See its very simple , GOI is arresting people who are on POPULAR sites, and this is where ORKUT stands as clear cut winner”
Current generation and officials don’t even know that anything like orkut exists. Old users of Orkut have already forgotten about the days of testimonials and scraps , worse they don’t even remember their login IDs.For them Orkut is resting in peace in a graveyard.
No one bothers to read any (s)crap out there.
Dwindling popularity of orkut, what once gave nightmares to team orkut has turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Google is closely watching this campaign and if there is any faint chance of success it plans to relaunch Buzz (A networking platform on the lines of twitter which was scrapped up after success of twitter).
As per sources ad agency named A66 had been given this contract. They plan to roll out the ad campaign after getting inspired by the agency roped by Gujarat Congress. A66 says their plan is fool proof as they plan to steal pictures from little known poor countries of Africa ( To keep the government agencies guessing source country of pictures)
Social networking site users are pretty excited about this build up.On conditions of anonymity an IT professional said “Twitter & Facebook were the only place for venting out the frustration about the boss & professional life no less then bonded slave; but recent arrests had taken away that little consolation from us. Now Orkut has come to us for as Sankat Mochan. None of my friends and team mates are on Orkut and I can easily spit venom even against my in-laws”, with a sparkle in his eyes.
Meanwhile a special team of Google is analyzing data on twitter and facebook who abuse the most to send special “by invite only” request to use Orkut.

I think Google would surely think about this fiction to turn it into reality ‘coz it might be profitable to them. 😉 Lol! 🙂
The picture is very apt & perfect. I guess, you should have photoshopped it. 🙂
